DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Culture, Engagement, and Wellness (25%)
- Own and evolve programs that recognize and support team members.
- Design and lead initiatives that support employee wellness, engagement, and belonging across the organization.
- Champion Bradley Angle's core values, guiding principles, and ethical commitments in day-to-day HR practice.
- Partner with leadership to sustain a healthy organizational culture through periods of growth and change.
- Support employee appreciation efforts and organization-wide moments of connection.
Contribute to organizational equity and inclusion efforts, ensuring HR practices reflect Bradley Angle's commitment to equity across all aspects of employment.
Leadership Development and Training (25%)
- Provide ongoing coaching, development, and support to Bradley Angle's managers and directors through regular 1:1s and thought partnership.
- Support managers as they navigate their teams, hold hard conversations, give feedback, and build strong workplace relationships.
- Partner with leadership to identify development needs across the management team and design meaningful learning opportunities.
- Contribute to onboarding and orientation for new team members in partnership with the Administrative Services Coordinator
- Develop resources, tools, and training materials that help managers grow into their roles.
- Prepare and deliver group training at staff meetings on timely HR topics — such as policy updates, workplace expectations, and legal or compliance developments — to keep the whole team informed and aligned.
Employee Relations, Grievances, and Employee Support (20%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members with workplace concerns, grievances, or questions about their employment.
- Partner with leadership to navigate sensitive employee relations matters, including workplace conflict, grievances, performance concerns, and terminations.
- Conduct workplace investigations with care, discretion, and consistency, in alignment with Bradley Angle's grievance policy.
- Advise leadership on employment-related risk, compliance considerations, and consistent, equitable treatment across the organization.
- Support managers through difficult conversations, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
- Facilitate exit interviews and use insights to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
HR Operations and Compliance (25%)
- Own and maintain confidential personnel files in accordance with best practices and applicable regulations.
- Oversee HRIS management, including data integrity and reporting, in partnership with the Administrative Services Coordinator and finance team
- Manage leave administration, including PLO, OFLA, and ADA accommodations, in accordance with applicable law.
- Own organizational policy and the Team Member Handbook, ensuring policies remain current, compliant, and reflective of Bradley Angle's values.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including labor law postings and required reporting.
- Oversee workers' compensation matters in partnership with the Administrative Services Coordinator.
- Partner with finance on benefits administration, providing employee-facing support and program guidance.
- Partner with finance on compensation analysis and pay equity reviews.
- Support performance management processes, including reviews, in partnership with managers.
